Dillon Design is a multidisciplinary creative studio shaping spaces, experiences & ideas.
Spaces. Experiences. Ideas.
Some work lives in spaces.
Some unfolds through experiences.
Some helps brands express their ideas in meaningful ways.
All of it is rooted in the same belief:
design has the power to shape how people gather, connect, and feel.
Nice to Meet You.
My name is Sarah Dillon-Newell, a proud Canadian who has spent the last decade exploring Chicago, New York, Denver, and now San Francisco. I’m a traveler and adventure seeker with very few fears, but a strong aversion to shrimp. My penmanship is terrible, my singing voice is questionable at best, but road trip karaoke remains one of life’s great joys.
Professionally, I’ve always thought of myself as something of a creative Swiss Army knife. I began my career on the client service side of the business, learning how to sell, manage, and deliver complex ideas for demanding brands and audiences. After mastering the fundamentals of strategy, operations, and production, I transitioned into the creative side of the industry, where I focused on storytelling, concept development, copywriting, and art direction.
Over time, that dual perspective became my superpower. Understanding both the business realities and the creative possibilities behind an idea allows me to lead teams that push the work further while still delivering results.
At the end of the day, I’m driven by the same simple idea that has guided my career from the beginning: meaningful experience design has the power to bring people together and shape how they remember a brand.
